I was driving home on the freeway and I went to shift into 4th gear and all that happened was the RPM's shot up from 2000 to around 3800 with no traction what-so-ever, then it did it again when I shifted into 5th. I then tried to pass a car and it happened again all I got was a high rev, no traction at all and my clutch pedal when to the floor with out me touching it. Could my cluch be going out or is it the throw out bearing. The clutch has 120,000 miles on it. Thanks for all of the help in advance.

yep, you can add a new clutch to that soon to be installed list.

I have a SPEC stage II and i like it a lot, you might want to look into those.

hmmmmm, i'm gonna take a wild guess here and go with clutch as well.

Is it normal for a clutch to last that freakin long?
