Like the title says what is this actually called? If I ask for the piece of **** plastic vac lines that always break I doubt they will know what I'm talking about lol. It goes to the egr and the air pump hose and maybe something else I forget. Damn thing breaks more and more everytime I work on the car. (YES you read that right I am messing with the car)

Also where can I get a new one? Would advance have them or is it a dealer only thing?

I'm sure I'm not the only person that has had these pos lines break.

Thanks Guys

I've done that countless times in the past. Before I stoped running the car I would get a cel. I'd jump out and they had pulled apart. I had them all ghetto taped together. I'm ready to just replace the damn thing.

Sorry bud, I dont know the name of the thing. Im pretty sure you can get the hard line and the elbows at almost any auto parts store and make your own recreation. Otherwise, I dont know if ford would carry a replacement setup at dealer or not... Can you get around smog testing if you drive the car less than 5000 miles a year? If so, just eliminate the smog pump and EGR all together!

Blue the car has sat for a few years so it has to pass emissions. In order to get away with the 5000 mile rule your car has to be inspected every year. I could have put 1 mile on it the year I parked it and it wouldn't mean crap.

Damn it joe you know I can't do that.

I can't hence why my last post I said joe I can't do that.

I ended up going to Advance and buying some ends and new vac line tube. I'm gonna try and make something up.

I also got some stuff called CD2 something that's suppose to quiet valves and lifters to throw in and see what happens
