The way things are looking, I'll need a new clutch by the end of the summer. This is what I'm looking at:

My car is a 90,000 mile daily driver. I don't drive hard all the time, but I do drop the clutch occaisionally. I'd say I show off about as much as every other Mustang driver. Like I said, it is a DD so I don't want a clutch that is gonna make the car a chore to drive, but I want one that will stand up to some punishment. I don't want to do this job twice! Price is an issue as well... not looking to go broke on the install.

What do you suggest?

I have a SPEC II , can't remember what was the price but can be a daily driver for sure , I think the price was around $250.00 but I may be wrong

You will need the flywheel to be machined ( to make sure it's not warped ) or buy a new one .

Personally I would not get a king cobra, my friend just put one in his 97 gt and its vibrating bad and I have heard other people complaing about it as well.
I put in a spec II for about 300 plus shipping from partshopper, I have had no problems.
If you want you can put in a spec I in and you can find them for less then 200, which is not that much more expensive then king cobra.
If you buy spec throw away there throw out bearing, its plastic and it is going to chatter bad, I went and got a oem tob for 30 bucks no chatter at all.
Good Clutch Bad TOB.
