I REALLY HATE TO ASK THIS TO YOU GUYS.....

MY GIRLFRIENDS SISTERS BOYFRIEND WHO IS A RICER...THINKS THAT HE CAN GET A CHIP FOR A 2000 MUSTANG GT AND GET 80-100HP.

BONE STOCK 2000 4.6 RATED AT 260-265HP + CHIP = HE THINKS 350HP

PLEASE...PLEASE... HELP ME SHOW HIM THE WAYS

WHAT IS THE MOST YOU CAN GET AT THE FLYWHEEL WITH A CHIP ALONE ON A BONE STOCK 2000GT?

Do you suppose the mod chip manufacturers would have this information on their websites? You should check. Also, I think your caps lock key may be broken, you may want to check that as well...

A chip is just a means of tuning your car. You can get a mail order tune or a dyno tune. With no mods, all you can do is improve your tune over your current tune, so it depends on how bad your tune is. I saw a Bullitt that only made 3 rwhp with a chip tuned on a dyno. I think 10 to 15 rwhp is probably the best you are going to do.

yeah i know using a diablosport chip on a completely bone stock 2000 GT u should get 10-15 and like they said maybe 17 or 18 rear wheel hp. so maybe 22 on the flywheel.

no, my girlfriend has a 66 coupe and just got a 2000 gt due to her dad passing away.

we were talking about the car and it came up that the father told me he had put a chip in it.

he of coarse says ...

wow, that must have about 350hp now with the chip... and was arguing with me about it.... what a dumb ass! he also thinks his full race CRX is pushing 220 to the front wheels and should run mid 12's all motor.... oh ...on street tires

you will gain alot more torque than horsepower when you install a chip, on a stock car you wont gain much maybe 5hp.
