What is the proper Voltage output?

Just finished up 3G Taurus Alternator intall. When I fired it up my new
Votage Gauge in the Car Said 13 Volts. I checked the output at the
battery and its at 14.65 Which seems a little high to me. It works really
good without any noise.

Thanks

Measured at the battery, anything between 13 and 15 volts is about where you'd expect to be. You'll see higher voltage while the car is running and the battery's a little discharged (that's the alternator charging your battery - no worries). Sounds like you did well!

I bought the Alternator at the Junk Yard for $35.00. They had about 20
of them on the shelve. It had the pigtale attached which helped out also.
I bought a $20.00 150a Megafuse holder. I ran 4 gauge wire from the
alternator to the Megafuse and then from the Megafuse to the + side of
the Starter Solinoid. You have to conect one of the wires off the pigtail
to Run/Start wire and the other to Full Power on The alternator. I just
connected the one full power with the 4 gauge wire on the Alternator. I
had to add a 3" section on the lower adjuster bracket for the alternator.
I also had to intall a V pulley. It works great and a very inexpensive upgrade.

Hope this helps
Steve

Its also 3.8 Taurus 1993 Alternantor.
