What is the service life of a Paxton supercharger?

I have about 50K miles and 13 years on a Paxton supercharger in my 302 Bronco. I will be replacing the longblock soon and it will be off the car. Should I (and if so, where can I have it rebuilt?

If it is an early sn- series that is ball driven, then you are definatly on borrowd time.
The only copany that does rebuilds and that has the parts Is paridise wheels out of cali.
For parts it is like 450$ and if you send them the head unit it is 700-750.

Ball drives are a problem just waiting to happen. I purchased a rebuild kit from paradise. The head unit lasted another year. The blower drive shaft developed another chip. I decided to drop the ball drive and purchase a novi.

I ran mine for 5 years.

My buddy had his rebuilt at Paradise Wheels and while they was at it he had them upgrade the impellor. They give a warranty on their work also.
