I posted this in the SN95 forum but I really need help quick so I thought I would post here also. I believe this motor is from an f150. It is roller so it can't be to terribly old but here goes.
I have been fighting an oil leak from my manifold. I removed the upper and stuff and I found this. It is on the block behind the lower manifold. It appears to be threaded. It was filled with oil whenever I first saw it. But it could have just been were it was running out of the intake.
Also is there a gasket for the distributor? Or just the o-ring around the shaft? Because once again one or the other is leaking from the front.
I have done many manifold installs and I'd hate to think I messed up so bad that I have the front and back leaking.

Nah, those were baby steps, or the "beginning". I remember thinking to myslef during the build, "What the heck goes in that hole?". Just trying to help out.
