Hey guys,

Again i bought a 88gt mustang from this kid a while back and he basically didn't know how to care for this machine that i should've bought, but i'm trying to put this thing back together so it can run healthy again....now that the combination of the sun coming out (Boston,MA) and me having a day off i did some cleaning in the 88gt hatch (5spd) i found something weird under the driver's seat....

What is it? : It's a wire that run's from a relay under the driver's seat and run's all the way to the ecu of the car (passenger side kick panel) .....this kid (poorly) soldered this (18 gauge) wire and ran it allllllllll the way to a wire on the ecu for some reason.....any idea what this is? or any idea what that relay's for under my driver's seat?

Fuel pump relay...

oh really.....hmmmm...i'm not too sure why but this kid had a wire running from one of the wire's (pink and black stripe) from the relay under that driver's seat going to the passenger kick panel.....i'll give you an update once i find out where exactly it's going to (wire's hidden in black tape) i got to investigate a little more though....thansk for the info.

It's a fuel pump relay signal wire to the ecu, it would of been added during the mass air conversion you mentioned in another post.

oh ok.....so that needs to be added as one of the ingredients/steps to the MAF conversion then huh?...Hmmmmm? anybody have steps on how to actually do the conversion cause i'm going to look over all the wires done by this kid......this thing (88gt stang) surges like crazy at the cold start all the time but then smoothes out later.
