I was wondering if anyone could tell me what this is? I found it behind the radio. My second question is do I need it for the car to run or operate properly. I thought that it might be for the airbag system, which I am going to be getting rid of when I put in my new tilt steering wheel column. So any ideas?

looks like the factory amp for the premium stereo system. just a guess, though, given it's location.

Yeah... it's the premium sound system amp.

I beleive it is a twin turbo boost controller. If you are not making the proper amount of boost, you may want to put it back in. I think mine is broken too, I am making 0 psi at all rpm's

Now that you mention it, I think mine is broken too.
