I found the source to my smoke. This thing is dripping on headers. Its what runs to the PCV hose. Why would this leak? Also it has a tiny hole in the steam right below the hose on the right u might can see, but the oil aint coming out of tha hole, its coming from the threads screwing into the valve cover

that's just a 90* vacuum fitting going from the intake to the PCV valve. Its basically a 3/8" NPT thread to a hose barb fitting. With that hole it will be causing you a vacuum leak.

I replaced mine with one from the "chrome dress up" section at AutoZone or Advance. They should have a chromed 3/8" fuel line fitting that works perfect. Make sure you use teflon tape or something to seal the threads before screwing it in.

Also, you could probably find something that'll work from Home Depot or Lowes in their brass fitting section. I know they have 90* 3/8" NPT male to female then get a 3/8" hose barb to screw into the female end of the 90*

Looks like the stem is bent and that caused the hole at the base of the stem.

The PVC system is known for sucking some oil from the lifter valley into the upper intake. Some people put a small filter/catch can like found on an air compressor in the line between the pcv valve and upper intake. Another way to help keep oil out is by making sure there is a baffle on the bottom of the lower intake (but you need it removed from the engine to do that) and make sure you have the mesh screen under the pcv valve.

What mesh screen? I havent came across one, so I guess not. Des it go in the lil round hole with the PCV valve?

Yes, you remove the rubber grommet the pcv valve sets in and the screen is below that. It is actually a metal cylinder about 1" tall and it has a bunch of wadded up metal wire inside, kind of like a coarse steel wool that catches any oil particles. It can be found usually hanging with the PCV valves at the auto parts store

It's called a breather element. It's under the filter and tune up category. All the parts stores sell it.

No thats the PCV Im looking for whats in the pic

Can someone please tell me wth this part is called I have searched every way possible and cant find nothing. The parts store said they dont have it, but they almost have to, just think they dont know what it is too look it up. Have searched breather element, vacuum vlalves, pcv, intake everything on advanced site with the auto fill just to get more parts to pop up and nothing, unless it looks different. Seen some things but they dont screw in and aint right size other then that I dunno. Im needing to do a compression test and dont know if this will make a difference or not

Also as someone else stated Im having some serious blow by that prob caused this to leak oil and PCV to pop off, huh? What causes blowby

The part number was from RockAuto.com. As a previous post said, these are usually at the parts store over by the oil filters/Pcv valve. That is where they are at Autozone anyways.

I went to O rileys they said go to supply store, they said go to automotive went to advanced they didnt have or know what it was to look up been lookin on net too cant find nothing cause I dont know what its called to ask for. I took the part to them and they still didnt know

What part are you looking for? The breather has been covered. The dealership should stock it as well.

The Tee in the corner of the plenum has been covered. You can make a new one or Latemodel restoration probably has one as well.

The breather element is under the PCV valve, which is in your lower intake. The PCV valve's hose connects to the other end of that fitting in your picture.

For that fitting, Last5.0 and the guys had some good ideas for you on how to make one. And LRS probably sells them if you don't want to make something.

This is closest thing, but it has no threading. If all else fails I will try the other remedies . And it actually looks too big to fit between fender wall and intake manifold. Although the chrome finish would be nice. Do yall think this is what they have turned into?

since no one else seems to want to put it bluntly take your time and read all the posts. your question was answered at least three times. but the go over it again... the elbow you are looking for is simply a 3/8 thread 90 degree fitting. home depot or lowes should carry someting similar. most likely made out of brass. good luck

lol I know, I know. But it is driving me nutts that I cannot find the real name of this. Its bothering me just not knowing.

I found the exact same looking piece only it says its for chevy. It is called intake manifold vacuum fitting. Cant find one for ford

The part that I use is actually for a carburator fuel line. It is in the chrome dress up section of the parts store. It looks like this...
