I'll be getting an S-trim cheap off a friend and it just needs a bypass valve setup. He was using a Bosch unit but lost it. He was running about 10psi, I don't know much about the different psi rates for the valves, I see some are for 6-7 psi. I only plan on running 6-7 psi at most so can someone recommend one for me, what about a BOV? (flame suit on lol) I can't use one can I since I'm mass air? Someone educate me on this :SNSign:

The regular old Bosch valve that comes with the kit will be fine for that set-up. That's what I'm running on mine. Should be fairly in-expensive to get a replacement valve.

Hey bro..long time no speak ;-)

If 6-7psi is all you'll see for a while, the one provided with the kits will be enough. (noticed your not getting a new kit however)I have a bosch part#0280142102 (bypass valve) which is either the one that came with a factory Vortech kit or it may be a step above the one Vortech sends. I honestly can't remember...check the part #......but either way, if you need it, PM me..I'm not using it.

As for a BOV, you'll have to have a blow thru meter, not a draw thru.

Let me know,
Bobby

Hey cool, and I'll be finally joining the Boosted family soon

I'm def interested on that valve, I'm looking at the Mondo or the Racing bypass but I don't feel like spending that much money right now till I get everything going, you know my email just send me some pics if you can of it and let me know a price on it. Thanks again, Sean

also right now I believe with the pulleys I'll be getting it with it's pushing 10psi, what size pulley/pullies would I need to get it down to 6-7 psi?
