I ran my new combo first time (since put together in aug' 04) best was 11.68@118 mph on drag radials(nittos 275-40-17).This past saturday at a mustang event in Bradenton.I'm really happy with how it ran also next time(in January)run it with 150 shot of N20.Probally bring my slicks down with me but first try it on drag radials.

Hey, I didn't make it to that event (blown head gasket), how was it?
I'm looking at getting my car into the 11's N/A on slicks.I'm ordering a new cam and hope to see maybe a 11.80 or better.Whats your new combo, thats pretty good for drag radials.

You could run 11s w/ 350-400 rwhp on a good set of 275 drag radials. Pulling at least 1.7 60ft and trapping over 115 mph.

My old nitrous set up was similar and I was never able to crack the 11's on my BFG's....granted, I also could not do better than a 1.9 60'. At the time I was running flat tops, Fcam, TFS intake, AFR185's, NX 150hp wet unit,4.10's, AOD with 3000 stall. Also my track is at 2900". I have come close though, with speeds above 115. Not many people achieve 11's on a real street tire with any amount of hp. That's a tall order.

My friend has a 91 black GT and he ran 12.8's with 3.73 gears, trick flow upper/lower intake and a 75 shot of nos, and his back seat and rear tire, etc. gutted from the car. Then my friend a cam matched to some TW heads.... and he dyno'd at 291 rwhp and so now (with the cam and heads) i would guess low 12's, probably high 11's, and thats with his car lowered on stock suspension, no caster/camber plates either...

its all in the suspention my car has 373s southside uper and lower ca. moroso dragsprings sub frame connecters comp adj rear shocks lakewood 90/10s with lf swaybar link taken off eng is completley stock except for the 150 nx wet shot and aod 3000 stall and shift kit. cuts 1.6 60ft best of 12.33 at 110mph on 26 10.5 et streets. eng has 115xxx miles on it :D whats the big deal about using a street radial tire?if you can build a engine you should be able to change tires  put some et streets or slicks on it and have fun!

Other than mac upper/lower rear control arms my rear suspension is the same as it rolled out of the factory with. I have a tubular K-member and coil overs with original struts and no sway bar. On my second pass ever with the new motor and drag radials (only street radial passes before) the car cut a 1.68 short time with only a 3k launch. I just like driving to the track, letting out some air pressure, racing, airing up and driving home. Just me.
