I had a similar setup to yours before I built the 347 and I was running high 12s on slicks.

I'd say 310rwhp/310rwtq and with that you should be able to run low 12's.

You would need some suspension work to run low 12's on a H/C/I 302 .

if you have not been to the track often then Id say you will be somewhere in the 13's and depending on what your running for tires.

I do have a suspension kit on the car. It's got Intrax springs, adjustable rear upper control arms{tubular with solid bushings} and lowers. Subframe connectors, and strut tower brace. I know this isn't a drag setup, but now I can corner and go straight in a hurry! 13's or high 12's are allright with me!!

More like low 13s, low 12s. I'm thinking 290rwhp because of the motorsport cam. You have more head than cam.

Yeah, I was trying to be a little optimistic, but 270rwhp is probably more accurate.

So what you guys are saying is that I have to much head and not enough cam? I have your run of the mill edel performer heads. nothin special. I thought the 303 cams were a decent grind for drivability. I know the B doesn't have a radical profile, but it has decent street manners. 270 seems a little conservative to me, but I'm new to 5.0 cars, so what do I know!! Thanks again.
