what mods to get 325-350 hp at the tires

took the 96 cobra to hp performance in orange park now it runs perfect. now its time for some mods. im looking for 325-350 hp at the tires.
exaust , cold air intake , cams , ported heads and intake , these are just off the top my head as some ideas. any ideas.......

It all depends on your wallet. Definately get an aftermarket exhaust, X-pipe (cats if required in your state) and mufflers. The stock H-pipe and cats sucks. Next, change the rear end gears. The stock 3.27s are way too high. Get some 3.73 or 4.10's installed. That will wake your car up. If the wallet is fat enough and your engine is healthy I would suggest a ProCharger kit. They cost around $4000.

Sky is the limit as well as the depth of your wallet. I would also suggest a full exhaust, CAI, longtube headers, 4.10 gears, lighter pullies, and then another tune. You should be over 300hp with those mods.

NA wise, you will need head work, intake and cams plus long tubes and every bolt on and a good tune to make 350rwhp. Now you can go Nitrous to make the power, just make sure you get a complete kit.

For gears, nothing less than 4.30's if NA and 4.10's if running a power adder.

nitrous is the quickest way. First iwould do full exhaust, spray and a tune if your tight on money

Also if you are set on staying NA I would definitely do a short runner/imrc delete intake. If I recall you can get a sullivan intake for the B heads now.

i have a tapping out of the driverside head so i figured i would get a set off of ebay for a couple hundred bucks and have them cleaned up and ported and maybe put some stage 1 or 2 cams in them. how much and how long does it take to port those heads??
im looking at some long tube headers now and a cold air intake. then h-pipe then catback. i already have a zex nitrous kit but im not installing until the heads get done.
if it dynos at 325 without the nitrous thats probably good.
what are some good intakes for the 96 to 98 cobra.

Head work can vary depending on the shop and their workload. You get what you pay for in this, so cheaper is not better. Fox Lake is know to do some of the best work out there.

I would sell the Zex kit and go with a NX kit. It is a much better overall nitrous kit.

Sullivan Intake or a short runner intake(you send them yours for a modified one).

Yeah...I've heard Fox Lake does some great work with the old "B" heads (or any head for that matter). And they seem to be the most reasonably priced of the bunch!

With all the bolt-ons you can get to 300-305rwhp with good tune. From there a shortrunner intake can get you to 318-325rwhp. There are a few forum guys on the net that still make shortrunners for the 96-98 cobras. I am one of them. I picked up 16rwhp and 4rwtq at peak with my intake.

If you want N/A then cams and shortrunner can get you to 350rwhp. Or like someone said about a stock motor and a 100 shot would get you 370-400rwhp.
