Well i've stashed some $ away and was thinking of doing a few more mods to my 5.0

what are some opinions on what would be best next? bout 800 to spend i'd say, give or take.

so far i have everything in the sig but here it is:
gt40p's
explorer intake
70mm MAF
upper/lower control arms
3.73s
subframes
ac/smog delete and underdrive pullies
3g alternator
mark 8 electric fan
water temp/oil pressure gauges
aluminum radiator
FMS P headers
BBK o/r X pipe
flowmaster catback
nitto 555r drag radials

everything else is stock.

I was also thinking of a 65/70mm throttle body. worth it yet with my mods? ~how many hp do you think that could be worth given my mods? mine is stock.

i'm really tired of my flowmasters. they're just eating at me and i'd like a change. I was looking at bullets but a coworker convinced me they're be too loud given i drive an hour and 1/2 straight at times and dont really need cop trouble.

what is something midway between the two?

I cant think of any other mods unless i wanna go to a power adder? what are other bolt ons?

thanks a bunch!

Springs/shocks and some good high performance front pads with x-drilled rotors and braided lines. You have a decient HP increase and the stock suspension/brakes really need to be up to par to handle the extra hp since the stock stuff is barley adequate for stock hp levels. Id put on some Tokiko Blues and some Eibach Pros. Thoes with the brake parts should be under $800.

yeah, I was thinking of some suspension. I was thinking strange adjustables though?

My goals for the car are a DD who see's the 1/4mi every other weekend or so from may to september (provided it isnt on jackstands like most of last summer  )

How much do shocks/struts "really" help with 60fts and 1/4 times at my power levels? I'm hoping i put down 250-260rwhp. mine are pretty worn as is i guess....i go back and forth on everything...there's way too many choices for our cars :( and not enough $ on my end sometimes

Suspension makes all the difference in the world. Dosent matter how much power you make if the car cant put it to the ground. Good shocks/springs/struts allow the car more wheel control and in return better "plant" of the tires. I would really do a little improvement on the brakes too. Cant do a 4 wheel disk conversion for that amount of cash (axles, spindles, lines, wheels for five lug etc etc) but when I did EBC green pads and Russel Lines with some ebay x-drilled slotted rotors the car really stopped alot better and alot less fade. If you are wanting to set it up for primarily drag racing try the Lakewood setup and Eibach Drag springs, good stuff for not alot of money. I always see them in our classifieds for cheep.
