i have an '89 5-speed vert.....so far i have full exauhst, fenderwell cold air, & 373's ......what should i be looking for next????..... other than sub farame con obviously....(already working on a deal with a set) but what should be my next mod for the biggest bang for my buck (no NO2 just motor)????

It is a slippery slope from where you are now.You can't go much further power wise without replacing heads,intake,bigger MAf and bigger throttle body.Most people do these as a matched setup "while they're at it".Individually none of the above do a whole lot because there is still a breathing restriction.

Like topdown said you are at the point where you are going to have to start modding the motor. What are your goals for the car? Nice street car, occasional track car, weekend track car etc. This has a lot to do with what mods you need to do.

Maybe not NO2, but how about some N20??

On a serious note, a shifter, MAF, TB, and a Cobra/explorer intake would be good at this point, then you can upgrade the heads later.

hmm underdrive pullies or the 3g alternator upgrade if you don't want to jump immmediatley into an h/c/i free up a few ponies at least.... Just some suggestions

looking for a nice street car/ occasional track car ..... but thanks for the advice from everyone...if i went with tb maf and a intake for now and then thought about heads and a cam over the winter what are some good brands for tb, maf, n intake????

also a buddys buddy of mine is trying to sell me some 69 351w heads what all would be good combos with these? i am somewhat new to mustangs but know my fair share about cars....i just dont want to mis match any thing if i decide to go w/ these heads b/c supposedly the deal is a steal....
