Ok I have been doing some searching and can't find the info I'm looking for.
Most of these after market springs lower the car which is what I don't want to do. I just installed 255/65/R15 tires on the rear and they were hitting the fender lips with stock mustang springs. The tires were free or I would have purchased a different size. I put a set of springs from my 84 cougar(coils are twice as thick as the mustangs) in and I no longer have the rubbing issue but the car rides like a tank. Also to note I have mega bite sr lowers.
Anyone know of springs that are somewhere in between the two?
Also I'd like front springs as well. What would you recommend? I noticed alot of people run 4cyl springs up front.
Also I'm looking for adjustable struts for the front. I noticed there are very few listings for 83 stangs. Is this because of the spindle size difference for the strut mount. I will be putting later model spindles for a V8 mustang on so I should be able to order 87-up struts right? Do the adjustable struts give you true 90/10 adjustment or do they just soften the dampening factor.
