Please excuse me if I should'nt have posted this here. It was part of me getting my current Mustang.

In 1995 I had just traded in my 2003 Intrepid ES for a 1995 Mustang GT that had to be factory ordered (because of the 3.08 rear end I wanted). While waiting for the Mustang to arrive, I had an end-over-end rollover and landed on the roof on a submerged tree stump in a drainage ditch running parallel to the highway. A doofus in a Jeep did a U-turn right in front of me, my right front climbed up over his left front and up and over I went. I nearly drowned, was nearly decapitated but it wasn't my time to go. All the other guy got was a $123 ticket for unsafe lane change and his left front suspension torn off and thrown about 150 feet down the road.

It was to be my first day on a new engineering development contract, replacing a contractor who was fired for always being late! Needless to say I was a bit late to work.

Wonder if I'd have survived in either my 1995 Mustang GT or 2004 Mustang GT? It made we want a roll bar in every car I own!

There are a few more pictures in my garage.

The boundries of time have lost their grip on Rick.

No more than usual :)

I was just looking through pictures to find one of my 1995 and 2004 Mustangs and came across the Intrepid pics. I went from 1968 Mustang to 1973 Mustang to 1987 Mustang to 1993 Intrepid to 1995 Mustang to 2004 Mustang. I almost cancelled the 1995 Mustang order right after the wreck because I was a bit gun-shy about any car. Glad I didn't. I just thought some of you might get an idea of what a bad wreck can do.

Now, back to 2006...

 Wotinhell was I smoking yesterday?!

The comments of Outlaw97GT and nickthegenius went right on by without registering with me. I'll blame sleepless nights due to my two little kids keeping me up (they're not, but it helps me feel better).

In case you're still confused, RTD (Rick the Dumbass) meant "In 1995 I had just traded in my 1993 Intrepid POS ES for a 1995 Mustang GT..."

I'll shut up now and return to lurking.
