What pads with Brembo rotors?

I have brembo slottd and cross drilled rotors, and used to have on Hawk pads. They worked great, but the rear pads were noisy; could have been the slots and holes, but I replaced them with lifetime pads from O'Reilly's and there's no difference for the street once you have good rotors. Hawks will make the biggest difference when they get hot, like a road course, they work better when they're warm.

Fade has more to do with heat disappation than it does pad material. The stock 10.8" rotors aren't exactly the best heat sinks.

Ford OEM pads on 13" brakes don't fade at all. I've made plenty of 120-60 stops to find this out firsthand.

I don't know who makes the pads for Ford, but the pads i got with my Mach 1 brake kit were made by PBR. They have PBR stamped on them and are organic i beleive. Anyway, they perform very well and i notice when i build a little heat in them, they actually seem to grab harder. If they are the same as Ford OEM i would recommend them. If they are not, well then i'll be buying my next set of pads from PBR.

I bought first the carbotech pads and used them with the stock 10.8 rotors, and then 4 months later came the brembos. The fade was gone with the carbotech and the OEM rotors, in fact did a track day with this setup and worked very nice. With the brembos the braking was outstanding (GT size).

I'm not talking about cobra or mach 1 hardware, I'm talkin GT rotors and pads, and the pads are the first thing that gotta go if you use them hard. I agree, 10.8 are tiny, but it's cheaper to upgrade them to carbotech pads than buying cobra 13" brakes.
