What measures would I need to take to run a C.R. of 10.8\1 on the street. This is a weekend car, so no DD here. I have edelbrock heads and 3 core radiator to help keep temps down. It has the stck fan, should I switch to an electric fan?

Will these be safe to run on the street with pump gas?

I am already used to that so that will not hurt me. Do you think I should upgrade the w\p, fan or anything?

Thanks

If you're limited to 92/93 octane, I wouldn't run any more than 10.5 to 1.

10.8:1 isn't bad at all, but if you get crappy gas, you will definatly know. I think your doing it right, keep the temps down and you'll be fine.
