What psi should I run a Nitto 275/40/17 (on a 17x8 rim) on the street? I've been at 27psi. I remember my buddys Nittos going bald in the center from too much psi. Thanks.

Mine aren't the nittos, but when I got my 275's put on the mechanic pumped them to 45 psi I now run them at 35 for normal driving, so far so good.

My suggestion is to run them around 25lbs on the street, otherwise the centers will wear out like you mentioned.

BTW- Welcome back stranger!

I found that 20-25 worked fairly well. Mine lasted me a year on my tri-bars with that PSI. Still a little tread left.

On my 17x9's with 275's, I run 32psi in the front and 28psi in the rear.

That seems to keep the wear pattern even. My old TriBars with 245's were run at the 30psi all around (like on the door sticker) and the fronts wore outsides (under-inflation) and the rear wore in the center (over-inflation).

For the street setup, is it normalised to have it at 32 psi on 275's on 17x9 rims ? Or it's only on Nittos ?

I don't actually run Nittos, I run the BFGoodrich gForce KDW tires. I would imagine that the Nittos would be similar.
