I've been looking for a S/C, but can only find for fox body's. Do they fit on ours?? Will 5-6lbs get me in the 430+HP at the rear??? If I get a house, I'm gonna order the Supercharger right away!!!!

Oh i forgot i took my sig of. I have Trickflow heads, b-31 Cam, 1.6 rockers. Other **** to. Oh yeah its on a 306. Dont matter but its a little bigger

well, with an H/C/I, 5-6 would probly put you around 350-360 to the wheels, maybe, hard to say for me at least, dont have experience boosting H/C/I, but the general rule of thumb is about 10 rwhp per pound of boost. give or take a few.

Guero...
If you are serious there is one on Corral classifieds..a Vortech...only missing a boost retard and oil fitting........"asking 1800.00...

username is Jeepman.. real name is Tim.he is on here as well...guy lives in Cleveland and 'always" has some type of Mustang stuff.....might want to look into it....
good luck

As I see it ...It all boils down to the two basic types :)

Centri ... Like Vortech
Screw ... Like KB

In a nutshell ........

Centri's come on later in the power band but just keep
making power to the redline.

Screw's have max boost just a bit off idle and might die off a bit as you
approach the redline.

Each one feels V E R Y different ;)

The Centri will almost always put up bigger dyno numbers

The Screw will make you think you transplanted a big block in you Stang :nice:

IMHO ... Torque is where its at on the street
sooooo
I will be doing a 2.2 KB ... someday ... when funds allow :D

the bigger supercharger is like a grand more. Dont think i can afford that. TJH566, your right about N2O but at the same time its good. You dont always stress your motor when you punch it if your not spraying

yeah the KB would be awesome but dont they cost like 5 g's??? I just want that whine that my GTP had!!!!

OK Mr. G :D

I'm feeling generous tonight
so
I'll give you a tip that will save you ........ $ THOUSANDS $

Get that whine for .......... Pennys on the Dollar

All you need is an old Alternator with a wallered out bearing ;)

Your Welcome

I remember seeing a guy at a local dyno day with a stock headed gt40 intake vortec running 12 or 15lbs putting down like 420wrhp. I would think with your heads and such with 10-12lbs you would be close.

If I ever run boost...it will be a turbo. I like the idea of no front drag on the crank/block and dial-a-boost from a boost controler.
