Well I have done all the body work I want to my car so now it is time for motor work. I personally dont like the basic 4.6 non pi. Doesnt seem to be strong at all. I want opinions from you guys if I should build out a 2 valve or get a 98 cobra 4 valve motor. My dad mentioned that he thought it would be kewl to get a 3 valve out of an 06 or something. But I am just trying to figure out what has the most potential and what not. Any comments would be great.:)

whats your budget?? i say if its large you should go 03 cobra motor if you are looking for a swap. if not just upgrade to PI H/C/I with a S/C like a vortech. or if u decide to not bother with the H/C/I swap, buy a kennebell 2.1 with the 9psi pulley. that should beef it up enough to make you smile...

I 2nd this setup. Before I read this post, I was going to suggest an 03 Cobra full swap, plus a 2.4L KB.

You'll **** your pants the first time you feel the full power of it, I give you my word on that.

I think I remember some guy getting a full 03 Cobra setup for around $5000...that was darn cheap.

I dont think i can afford the 03 motor but i can get a remanufactured 98 cobra motor for about 2000. Do those have alot of potential. And maybe later on a kenne bell would really make me smile.
