...well, times are rough and I believe it's time to sell the gas guzzler. Being that I love my car, it's going to be very hard for me to part with it, and I've thought of every possible way to keep it, but nothing sounds reasonable.

I've only got 35K miles on my 2002 GT, and I've dropped a lot of money into it, but I have no idea what to ask for it. I'd really like to get rid of it soon (within a couple months) so I want to ask a competitive price, but I don't know how to factor in all the extras. Some people might prefer that I take the supercharger off along with a lot of the other extras and sell them seperate, but I don't know if I can spare the wrench time....any ideas from the all knowing around here?

...or better yet, is there anybody interested??? all my mods are listed below (for the most part)...and I'm in Va Beach if you want a fun test drive

Be careful, you can ask what should you ask for it, but you can not offer it for sale. That is what the classifieds are for

Take the average of the values that www.nada.com and www.kbb.com give you. Then deduct 10% due to significant mods.

You should have taken $1K or so of your mod money and bought a gas mizer beater. With the exception of 1 year, I've always owned a beater along with my Mustangs I've owned.

oh I have a beater too...that's why I've only put 35K on the stang in 5 years...and if everybody is in agreement that my mods only de-value the car...then I'll be selling my mongoose kit, rims, and exhaust seperately...then asking bluebook on the plain jane GT

That is the best plan.

However, you could try to sell the complete package yourself it could take all summer though.

Sorry, this is kind of off the subject, but how do you like those 4.10's w/that Mongoose kit? Is it too much gear for a S/C? Eventually i'm going the S/C route and i've been torn between buying 3.73's or 4.10's. I'll probably be N/A for the next 1 1/2 years.
