I've destroyed by 3rd World Class T5. I can't keep doing this. The car is making 315 hp and 330 ft/lbs of torque to the rear wheels. I'm going to keep it manual, so what should I put in it? G Force T5? Tremec TKO500 or 600? I can't spend a ton of money on it either, for example, $2500 is too much. Also, if anyone has anything for sale let me know. Would love to hear everyones opinions! Thanks!

G Force or a TKO is going to be the most expensive route. G-Force may be a bit cheaper cuz you can re-use some existing parts. Might want to look at getting a rebuild/upgraded gear kit from Astro Performance. Great power hanling capability and decent prices.

I know what you mean, my t5 is dead. Depending on ur application i would either go for the tko 500 for everyday usage and higher speeds. if you want real durability, and reliability stcik to a top loader. you can never go wrong with that. im probably gonna swap to a TL

Another option is to pick up a used 3550. Not only is it going to be cheaper….but it will also allow you to keep your stock flywheel/clutch assembly.

You can wreck them with stock power, or you can make it work with 400HP.

It's luck of the draw really.

They are only rated to 300 ft-lbs of torque

Destroyed mine and finally bit the bullet and bought a TKO600. Your best bet is to find a used 3550. They are pretty stout and can be had pretty reasonably.

With the proper bellhousing and a bit of shimming under the motor mount they'll drop right in. They are strictly aftermarket however, so finding one at a salvage yard is going to be next to impossible.
