What size 15" Drag radial did you stuff in your FOX?

I tried searching this already guys.

Im looking to see what the biggest Dr I can fit on a 15x8 5.5BS wheel. Car has rolled lips and a stcok rear track width. I plan to run tail pipes.
Id love to see pics and your info.
Primary use is a street car so Id like to have it not rub on every turn.
I dont mind massaging the inner well if thats all thats needed. 275-60-15 is 28" tall i think, 275-50-15 is 26" tall or a 255-60-15 27" tall.

I have 275/50/15 BFG DR on 15X8.5 with 5.0 bs Centerlines. Lakewood upper and lower control arms and some good Monroe shocks. No rolling,no pounding,no quads = no rubbing. I installed airbags but only about 8 pounds of air. I don't even think I need the bags. 88 LX Hatch stock height.

I really don't have an answer, but I'd also like to know what will fit.
I have a 93 GT Mustang
I want to get street tires for my rear 16x8 cobra r's and a set of 15x8 rims with drag radials for the track.
U.S. Wheel rim 15x8 3.75 back spacing

I don't know about the 3.75 back spacing on the US Wheel rim with this tire and if it will fit.
BFG makes a 235/60r (9.5 section width 26.1 height) that should fit no problem .
But I'd like to get the wider one if possible.

I'd like to go with US Wheel rims because it is the least expensive, but I'm concerned with the 3.75 back spacing.
I contacted Weld once and they suggested 4.5 back spacing for my car.
I was also looking at Summits replica of Weld Pro Stars which have 4.5 back spacing.

Right nowI have 245/50-r16 Nitto Drag Radials (9.8 section width 25.7 height) on 16x8 Detroit Cobra R's with 5.125" back spacing. I have race upper and lower control arms with adjustable drag shocks. This tire fits great, perfect really. The car really squats when it launches so, I'm concerned with hitting the fender lip with a wider tire. I don't really want to roll the fender lip either.

Any help would be great!

Adjust the shocks or put in a stiffer rear spring to reduce the squat. A stick car shouldn't have a whole lot of squat. If you're concerned with weight transfer soften up the front so it rises easier. It takes power to push the back of the car down and that is power that could be used to push the car forward. Lower ETs are the result of less squat.

The 275 60 is narrower than the 28x11.50 I'm running so you should have no problems
