Hey guys,
My uncle has a 99 cobra and was wondering what size gear he should go with, that would work best with the current setup. BBK Cold Air Induction, Steeda Underdrive pulleys, BBK Longtube Headers, Dr. Gas X-pipe, flowmaster 40 series mufflers. He is not sure what will work best with the setup either a 3.73 or a 4.10. He plans on a supercharger later on so any help you guys could give is greatly appreciated!!!

This has been covered many many times...He won't be happy with anything higher than 4.10's...some people even go with them if they are supercharged...try a search on this topic and you'll get about 1000 replys...

I would say go with 4.10's

although if he does alot of highway driving with it they wont be very desirable, although to some people that doesn't matter I suppose

4.10's minimum....4.30's would be even better.
I had 4.10's both when n/a and with the supercharger...I now have 4.30's.

Did you get your t56 before or after the super charger? I'm considering the viper t56 + 4.30's for my N/A 99. 1st gear will barely be stronger than the current t45 + 3.27, but 2nd and 3rd should be wicked, and the .5:1 6th gear will put my highway cruising rpm's a tad lower than 5th gear on the t45 with the stock rearend.

I just had the Viper T56 put in...so about 3,000 miles after the blower.
The 1st gear with the 4.30's is about the same as the T45 + 4.10's....and yes, the tall 6th gear was awesome on the highway cruising at 80mph (like I had stock gearing again RPM wise).

I have a whole excel spread sheet that someone did for me that shows RPM , gears, MPH, and tranny gear calculations for the Viper T56, D&D T56, and the 03 Cobra T56. Just 56don't have the #'s for the Cobra R T56.

If you want the chart PM me your e-mail as I don't know how to post it here

dont get anything less than 4.10's. I have 4.10's now and wish I had gotten 4.30's. but I also plan to supercharge so that is the reason why I got them.
