Debating if I need to get a mini starter or not. I read an add for one that said it was around 6" (it was 6. something I'm going off from memory) But I mesaured my starter that I have on there now and it is 6" exactly from the point where it mounts to the trans to the amount that sticks off from it. So did 94/95's come with starters that are considered to be mini starters or was this one that may have been replaced at some point? I'm asking from the stand point of having clearance with long tubes.

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

I thought we discussed this. Try and see if it fits. If it works, sweet, if not you need a Denso gear reduction starter.

Yeah I know but I found a mini starter that looks pretty much exactly like what I have now and when I measured mine it came out to the same length. The Denso Gear reduction ones are not in the budget. I have one pay check left to get it on the road by the end of this month and the majority of that check is going to the catback system. If the mini starters are listed as 6" and thats what mine is now I dont see how I would benefit from a different one?
