im gonna be having my tuner install my paxton a/a next month and im not sure what pulley size I should drop down or if I should just stick with the stock 3.6. Im still on my stock block with a v2-sq and powerpipe and i make just about 10 psi at the very top. I dynoed at 403 rwhp but supposedly the dyno i was on gives inflated numbers, i did run a 12.4 @114.4 so i guess im around 380 rwhp. Anyway i would like to make a lil over 400, but still be safe. It's gonna be switched to a blow thru setup. Should i stick with the stock pulley or drop down to a 3.4 or even smaller. Also how much boost do most of you guys lose with the paxton ic.

hopefully not oo much, i got the same intercooler going in. ive been wondering the same thing. however, these threads are hard to get answers to because everyones set ups and mods are different. all of this effects the boost drop.

If you already seeing 10psi on the stock pulley, you will drop 1-2psi with the intercooler. I think you would be safe with a 3.33 pulley. Just make sure you shift before 6 grand, or you might see over 10 lbs, and blow the engine. Smaller pulley=more stress on those sh1tty rods. On the contrary, I've had a 3.125 pulley for 4 months lol. Keep timing at 16^ with that IC too.

ive got the same supercharger and IC. I'm running a 3.2 pulley and see 8lbs of boost. I also have Bassani headers and O/R X pipe, and heard that drops boost too since there is less restriction but makes more power.
