i broke down and got myself a present by way of the summit star wheels. And the question is i went to the mickey thompson site to look up tires and i was wondering wat size front tire do i need on a 4 inch rim. I noticed different sizing(height) for the 4in rim and was wondering if i could get you guys to post up some pics and the size please! Oh and i have stock V8 springs.

I dont have a pic but, what Im running is 185/75R15 front and 275/50R15 rear. I have plans for some 295/55R15 for my next set of drag radials. If you look on the summit web site, they give the over all hight of the tire in the description so you could try to find something close to 26" for example, for the front & rear.

Try to get a 165 with a speed rating on it. Or a 26" DS2, MT etc will work.

Dont bother with the sportsman mickey t's tho, those things lasted one summer for me and there was a noticable difference in handling vs the kumhos i have. My plan with the kumho's is to replace them every 2 or 3 summers to be on the safe side becuase i have heard some horror stories, but alot of them seem to be older tires that have problems

True, I meant the ET's. My car doesnt like to turn with the DS2's but its better then the tire coming apart. Thats what happened to Sam's car. Next day I ordered the DS2's, really freaked me out.

I dont know the air pressure or even exactly how old they were. But I do know they were at least 4 years old. Chances are it was just because of their age but it really freaked me out so I wont run the regular 165's anymore. Pretty sure MT has a nice radial tire now thats got a good speed rating on them.
