I am looking to take my car to Keystone before the end of the season for a test n tune night, I've never bought a set of slicks before. What size should I buy? I have a set old Jegs 5 stars wheels, They are 15x8 with offset of+27. Car has gears in it I believe 3:73 or 4:10. Thanks

9" on those rims are all you can shoot for. So,..9x28.5x15.

Are those your current mods in your signature?
Going for a dead hook may not yield the best results.
You need to be able to power through it or else it will bog.

I'd probably go for a drag radial and not a full slick.
At least this way you can drive on the street with them too.

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

For any bias ply tire, just make sure the tire is about the same width as the rim. Ask me how I know. I messed that up before, and poo came out.

Before you seriously twist up the car, you need some full length subframe rails welded in. Then you can think about what type and size tire you need for maximum traction.

I have ones welded in from Maximum Motorsports in the car. Also Battle boxes upper and lower from UPR and additional upper reinforcements from BMR. And a Drive shaft loop.
