What size slicks fit our cars? Are they better than DR's?

I don't mind getting a cheap set of wheels for the track but what size slicks are most commonly run on our cars? Do you guys think this is a better idea than drag radials? I'm only running them on the track.

I run a set of Hoosier Quick Time Pro 26x9.5x15 on a set of black turbines, no rubbing, they didn't really help too much at the track (driver error )

They have an 8" patch of traction, i would imagine they would hook up great if i could geat them up correctly
