what size speakers in 99+ coupe

system ideas

need help designing a system and looking for ideas. will be for 99+ coupe.
tell me what ya got; amps front stage,subs, box. (especially the box, im not sure what i can fit, 10/12/15?) thanks

tens fit 12's might have to face up which sux....so tens! i had them in my 00gt the box fit perfect in trunk

I couldn't fit a 12, because the box size needed for the sub was too big. I would go with 10, or even a couple of real good 8's

one of my friends has 2 JL 12W3 in his 99 GT..box fits PERFECTLY....looks like a custom install from the rear of the car....it is a commercially built box also...still has great sound quality....

I have 2 12W3's w/ a Rockford 500a2. They've done well, but recently I've been wanting to kill the rattles and up the SQ. I went with the CDT CL-61a's from thezeb.com and Secondskin audio for the sound dampener. I'm hoping after all is done, the silk tweeters and midbass will show much improvement...

They will, trust me. The CDT's have a very natural sound to them, and a good amount of midbass if you seal up the door pretty well.
