hey i know this is a wierd question but i was wondering if anyone knew the size of the throttle body on a 1999 5.4l ford expedition. i have been trying to find the part number and call a local ford dealer cuz maybe they would know? i want to know the size in MM.
a ford dealer cant tell u how many mm a throttle body is the part numbers dont work like that. i believe its around 65-70 mm edelbrock has a 75mm they offer.
yeah i typed in 5.4L throttle bodies on google and it came up w/ the edelbrock website and they have a 75mm throttle body for 97-00 f-150/expedition 4.6 and 5.4.
so im just guessing on the stock size being in the neighborhood of 65-70mm or it could be 60-65mm but since its a 5.4 boasting in the neighborhood of 330-340ci a stock 70mm sounds reasonable. hell the stock throttle body on a 03/04 cobra is only 65mm and the MAFS is only like 80 something mm. the ford lightening has a 90 mm MAFS
