What spark plug wires do you have?

I have the black ford racing ones now and I hate em. First off one burned through so I have all black with one blue one. They were too long and whatever. I cant find the company that made them in different colors, I want black and most every company has blue or red, but no black. What kind do you suggest?

Summit has taylors $45, I had them on the cobra when I bought it. I should've kept em since I did the same thing with the ford racing wires. So needless to say I bought another set of taylors 100X's better fitment.

i have frpp blue wires, they suck ass, Wayy to long, the coil to distributor wire is like 10 feet long and it only needs to be 6 inches long, and i have one burned through wire...You'd think that for a factory part it would fit

i have the MSD superconductor 8.5mm and theyre great. fit is great and i could actually feel a power difference in the car over a brand new set of FRPP 9mm wires

I've had experience with taylors and MSD's but my favorite and its the current ones on my car are the Custom wires from AFM (Anderson Ford Motorsport). They are made short enough you dont have to used couplers. They look stock but are a nice addition. They are stock FRPP but modified in length and size.

I've run msd, taylors, frpp, and holleys ( kept burning through #3 w/equal shorty's.) I actually liked the holleys but they are hard to find, (only place I got them from was Dallas Mustangs, and they have been out, only wire for me that wouldn't burn with my mac equals) I have a set of msd's right now, I don't know if I have a real preference now that I have the full lengths on, don't have any burning wire issues, but I have wanted to try the new taylor wires (thunderbolts???, don't know if thats the name)

MSD offers their 8.5mm SuperConductors in black. summitracing.com has them for $78.88. I just ordered a set in red, and I'm sending the FRPP ones back.

I have Taylor Spiro-Pro 8.5 mm's in red from Summit

they came with a short wire for a stock location coil, and a long wire for a custom mounted coil

I remember a post a long time ago where a few people stated that OEM wires were just fine for a stock ignition.

I've got the red FRPP wires right now. The installation was not pretty as almost none of the wires were the right length (some too long and some too short).

I'm doing a tune-up in a couple days and will probably go back to the OEM wires. I don't care about colors/looks anymore for wires, just as long as they perform properly.

I run the MSD Super Conductors and they were big improvment over stockers, but awhile ago my number 4 wire had a burnt boot on it. I havent replaced it yet (been about 8 months) and I have a slight miss sometimes, for those of you who have burnt wires before what happens (miss, power loss, etc)???

i wanted taylors but no body in town could get them from there suppliers. all they could get were MSD's so i ordered them.

I'm not to happy with my MSD 8.5 super condutors I want to switch to another set. The MSD are flexible to cator to your needs. Well that thin piece of metal seems to be their weak point. I had broken 3 and have had to chop up the wires for repair. I'm litereally scared to remove them in fear more will break .
