What spark plug wires do you have?

I use to have the FRPP wires too and didn't like them for a few of the reasons mentioned above. I don't have an upgraded ignition or anything so I don't see a need for them. I bought a set of those Double Silicone ones from autozone and they are perfect fit and have doen a good job on my car. I'd recommend them for a mildly modified street car with a stock ignition.

See my "garage".
I have the yellow FRPP with black Taylor wire looms(Summit Racing). Yeah they are too long since they are made to fit the 351W engines too. With wire looms though you can prevent burned wires. The ceramic coating on the BBK E/L help too.

I just got my LiveWires from Performance Distributors. All i can say is wow, these are by far THE burliest plug wires i have ever seen, espcially with the burn proof sleeve that they are in. The kit is going on friday and ill let u guys know how they fit.

MSD Super Conductors. I've had them on for a few months and they run just fine. I also but a dab of silicone dielectric grease in the end of each plug boot when I do plug changes so that I don't end up ripping the boot off of the wire.

Don't count on that I have already ripped 3 of mine. That's why I'm getting rid of my msd wires and switching to something else (maby holley of accell).

Hey qwick94GT how do you like them??? That's one of the wire sets I'm looking at.

I had old 8mm Blue Ford Racing when I got the car. They were crapped up real bad. I switched to 8.8mm Accell (ACC-8854 I think they were about $60-70 from Summit), they were great, but the spark plug boots were huge and even with slip on fiberglass booties, they kept burning through from my headers. They would probably be fine though if you didn't have headers, but I am not sure.

I finally went with Black Accell 300+ 8.8mm Race Wires (ACC-7054 About $80 from Summit) and they are by far the best wires I have had on any car. They have smaller angled boots, specifically for cars with headers, than the regular Accell 8.8mm wires so there was no problem with them burning up. I also experienced a huge jump in throttle response and acceleration, especially at the higher RPMs.

Anyway, I highly recommend them, and they look pimp! :nice:
