what speakers did u replace ur mach 460 with?

so now that i got my whole new bassani exhaust on the way, itll be here in about a week, i wanna work on my stereo system.

i was just wondering what size speakers u used in place of the old stock mach 460 systems and how is the best way to get them to fit?

Http://www.crutchfield.com will tell you what will fit. Off the top of my head I know that Infinity makes drop in replacements. And I think Alpine has some that will fit with adapter plates from crutchfield

Let us know what you decide on. I want to replace my stock speakers this summer

i already know 6x8s and 2.5 are in the car, but i was wondering more if anyone put 6x9s in and how much they had to cut to make them fit

5x7 or 6x8 will fit in our cars. Umm as far as it goes i replaced my speakers with a 5x7 Alpine type r' component and 5x7 (regular) set in the rear followed by a JL Audio 450/4 amp. As far as 6x9 goes.. they most likely wont fit in the door panel. However, as far as the rear deck is concerned im sure if you took a dremel you could do that. THe only thing that concerns me is the amps under the rear deck..

my stock amps are gone, they where gone b4 i bought the car, im guessing the stock speakers are plugged into the aftermarket deck. im going to get 5x7s for the doors and 6x9s for the rear, ill make them fit...thanx guyz
