What struts and shocks to get with eibach pro-kit???

Are the Mach 1 shocks any better or worse than the Eibach ones? Seems like the Eibach springs with Eibach shocks would work the best since they are made for one another. Am I wrong? I know the Eibachs are more $$$

If you like comfort more than anything.. get adjustable ones like tokicos illumnas or strange adjustibles
 Yeah, gotta agree. For every day driving, I have Tokico Illuminas set on "1" (soft). The car still rides more firm than stock and takes corners extremely well, but it is a VERY comfortable daily driver. I had Bilsteins for over a year, but they ... for me ... made riding on bad roads a bit tedious (keep in mind that I also have aftermarket arms, too). The Illuminas offer a nice balance between handling and comfort, with the added benefit of easily adjusting to a more firm setting when required.

Regarding your choice for the Mach 1 shocks/ struts, that is likely a damn good choice. I drove a Mach 1 two weeks ago, and the ride quality and handling was quite good. My car rides a little lower and stiffer than a Mach 1, but not by very much.

Whats the main difference between the Tokico HP's and Mach 1 shocks/ struts? Is it worth the extra money to go with the tokico's? Also for people with the pro-kit are c/c plates really necessary? I know it would be better to get them but would you be ok without them if you just got an alignment, because I'm on a pretty tight budget.

I had to buy c/c plates for mine. I have heard that for a 1.5in drop they aren't needed but I think mine got lowered more with all the other stuff I have on it. I think the struts and shocks eibach gave me are a bit shorter than stock. When I took my car in to get it alligned they could not get the camber correct without c/c plates.

Only difference is the valving, from what I hear.

I have the pro-kit and did not need the CC plates, but there are some on here that have needed them. I got them anyway when I changed to the Mach 1 shocks..... :flag:

Brisk281GT's post above is the first that I have ever heard of someone needing cc plates with Pro Kit. This is an exception ... with 99.9999% likelihood, you will not need cc plates.
