What timing light are you guys using

Same one.. Prob had it for 18 years

Craftsman dial unit here. Stopped working about a year ago, pulled it apart and found that a couple soldered connections were weak and broke free. Re-soldered it and it's been working like a champ.

I really don't care for the dial lights myself. The scale field is so small who knows exactly where the timing is or who is to say it is correct. When I set the timing on my motor it has to be absolutely accurate. First I'll set the motor to tdc with a piston stop just to verify my timing pointer is 100% accurate and then use the light to verify/set my timing. A few degrees of timing for me can equate to melted spark plugs or worse... pistons. When we setup the program for however many degrees of timing under boost it needs to be exactly where we set it.
