Nitto what ones?

THERE ARE A MANUFACTURER NOT A SPECIFIC TYRE.

A DR is a DR and top quality brand should give you similar performance. The greater the wirth the greater the contact area with the ground. ie more grip. Side wall flex will also affect performance too.

Surprisingly, my Kuhmo 712's aren't that bad for the street. I drive too much and earn too little to buy drag radials every few months

I'm running 305/35/18 Nitto 555r Drag Radials. They hook so much better than the Kuhmo 712's they replaced. I actually have to TRY to break my car loose now.

I just have the 6 PSI kit and had Nitto drag radials installed 2 days ago. I am the same way I have to try to get them to break loose...I love it!

Do you have to beef up the rear end if you are running sticky tires with the 9psi kit?

He will. Anyone else notice the 4:10's in his sig? You get a 9lb KB to hook up solid with 4:10's, and you can kiss that rear end good bye.

Have to....no....going to want to....eventually. Could break and axle at any time otherwise....definitely! At least 31-spline axles if it's going to a fair share of track duty.

How's that for clear?

Blue_Blurr & 2000_4.6, how many miles on your tires and expect to last ??

You both have the dream tires I'm looking for my next set, either BFG Dr's 315 or the 305 Nitto 555r but can't decide...

I don't have enough grip with my 295s ...
