What to do next...steering???

Okay, I'm currently installing the rear cobra brake kit to compliment the Brembo's up front. The motor is a 347 and I'm not going turbo (for at least a year or two ). The suspension is pretty well taken care of, so what's next. Wife's leaving with the boy to visit her folkes next month and I was thinking it might buy me some time to do a good mod. I was thinking steering could be cool (since my stock pump is starting to sound off) but I've seen that FR has a manual quick ratio as well as a PS version available. Can anyone elaborate as to what the functional differences would be for a strictly street car and as to if I'd really tell a difference between a rebuilt stock one and what the aftermarket offers? Thanks!
