I've got between 5 and 6 hundred dollars to spend on an exhaust set up and was wondering the best way to go
1. Catback costing that amount
2. Lower cost catback and some kind of catted midpipe
3. Take a chance on the new slp boom tube Nino has for sale and hope it's not to loud and if not loud enough then get a new midpipe?
I have to stay catted so o/r is not an option and I like the h and prochamber sound much better than the x pipe
I have an 04 gt with magnaflows welded into the stock catback at the present time and I'm looking to get louder. The Magnaflow tone is good but I want something a little deeper and I really don't want to go with flowmaster because I want to sound a little different than the mustang next to me. SLP is very appealing but I think LM1 would be too loud. If I kept the stock h pipe would LM1 be too loud. I've listened to the sound clips but haven't heard lm1 in person yet
What kind of set up would you get if you were limited to this amount of money? All replies will be studied closely.... Jimmy
