So my question to you guys what else can i do to my car this winter for not a lot of cash in a small one car garage. I am up for anything and i have an intake on the car and some longtubes i need to put on but not sure what else can i do. So let me know what you guys have done. Thanks for your input.

Well i am buliding a 347 and having a cam and head combo made for the motor so dont want to put it on the little 302. And i was looking for some thing that will transfer to the new engine or to do with the body of the car and i really dont want to go 5 lug yet.

That "little" motor won't seem so little if you tie up the suspension- nice set of subframes, and lower rear control arms, Lakewoods or one of those other Southside copies, get the power to the pavement lots better- and the big motor will need that stuff!

yeah subframe connectors makes a world of difference in the way the car feels. right after i did those, i did shocks/struts/springs and upper and lower control arms. i did all the suspension in a small single car apartment garage too. it definitely tracks up a lot better/straighter now.

seriously i was inpatient with my mods and wanted a fast fox.now i wish i just had gears, suspension and a nice tuneup and clean engine bay. i am not complaining cause now i have a healthier 302 and some more hp along but the money i wouldve have saved could have went to my exterior which looks barely acceptable IMO......
to the OP your car has a nice mod list i would aim for subframes,shock/struts,CArms, and some n20 for fun and be done. that thing will scream with some traction and n20. not to mention be a nice reliable 5.0???(okay reliable enough) then when the other block goes in you got the foundation and laughing gas to make it be a real winner.
i got paint, wheel, spoiler, subframes, shock sturts, and carms and n20 before she is done, and thats stage one.eventually(i mean maybe) i would like to put something simpler in her, maybe a carbed BB or something and be done.......sorry im going on!

Pick up a used nitrous kit. NX is a good brand, my buddy picked up a sick setup on the corral for $300 shipped I think so deals are out there, esp now.

Take brackets and misc items off the engine, sandblast, prime and paint them. New Zinc-coated bolts, etc.

I love those little details, and it's usually not much $$$ for some paint and degreaser and misc hardware.
