If it was mine, I'd go with 4.10's. Your going to have to be careful running nitrous on a 93 because that was the first year that they had hyper pistons instead of forged.

Here's a write up I just did.

also if you have an AOD I'd go with 4.10s.

You will be able to run a 125 shot on the zex kit, and with the plugs and timing adjustments, that's a very safe shot.(I'll be bumping mine to a 175-200 shot as soon as I'm done with the 3g swap) once you've sprayed a few times, you'll want more

If one car is your daily and one car is a toy, keep the daily driver a daily driver. You'll have two toys and no daily very quickly if you get carried away and stop thinking practically. Have the rear end rebuilt with the 3.27s or 3:55s if you want to maintain highway drveability and fuel economy. If you have two 'stangs anyway, why not just mod one? Just my humble opinion...

Thanks for the input nice write up too.. I used the zex kit in m 2006 Magnum SRT-8 i didnt wire it to the TPS tho i hard wired it to a teather cord with a momnetary switch so i can spray when i wanted to...so i could floor the car 1st get the car in motion the hit the button worked awesome for me on the 3 cars i used it on...So i think thats the way i will do it...just hoping to see some 13's maybe out of this heavy vert with 3.73's and a shift kit and a little juice...lol

Very true...but i was thinking since i have to go into the rear i might as well up the gear a little just to help it move a little better a shift kit really isnt a bad idea for an AOD is it?...and if i do put nitrous on it will only be a 75-100 shot and it would be just to have a little fun with it..i can always remove it..maybe i wont do this just tossing it out there..lol...

you say all this now, but the speed bug already sounds like it hit. vests were never meant to be speed machines. they function best as a cruiser. leave it that way.
