Ok, so I have two months until I graduate and more importantly, order my new 07 GT. So now that I have everything picked out a million times over, I have moved on to other things and here is the list of things to do while waiting. Feel free to add input :D

1. Customize your car over and over again on www.ford.com until your eyes bleed.

2. Read every article ever written in these forums.

3. Go and make a wish list of all of the future components you wish to purchase for your car including, but not limited to *cough*:
- C&L CAI
- SCT X-CAL 2
- Chrome 18 inch Bullitt wheels
- Steeda Underdrive Pullies
- Flowmaster Axleback
- 4.10 Performance Gears
- Steeda Strut Tower Brace
- CMVC Delete Plate
- Steeda Billet Pedal Covers

4. Go back and rebuild your car on ford.com.

5. Dream, wish, and whistle.

6. Make an article asking everyone else what to do while waiting.

7. *sigh*

8. Go to bed, thinking the next day will be one day closer to the day you order and never have to drive that rockin' 91 Buick LeSabre ever again, and hopefully there will be replies to your thread so that you can revert back to #2 on the list tomorrow.

9. Lather, Rinse, Repeat.

Sounds about like I did...except I didn't know about StangNet until after i got my car... I also made a wish list that has now been editied at least 3 times. Ideas just keep coming to me, be it an inspiration from on here or elsewhere. I love this place and hope you will too blbrchnk...welcome to our world!!!!!

Indeed I do love this place. I knew virtually nothing about cars other than how to change a tire, where to put oil etc before this. I am really getting into it now. I have an obsessive type of personality, and I do not see this car being good for my wallet with everything this site has given me.

You sound exactly like me right before I bought my '01 GT ALL the way back in 2000. I ordered it and had to wait over 2 months which was absolutely killer! I found Stangnet about 6 months before I ordered my car and it made the wait THAT much harder. It also helped to contribute to me spending $3k+ in mods in less than 8 months after buying my car as I just couldn't resist!

So the going from knowing nothing, to more than I need to, the getting into it just reading about other peoples' rides, obessing about the car and it not being good for the ole wallet, are ALL things I can relate to. Long live StangNet!
:SNSign:

Of course after a few years of ownership, I got a bit out of the 'game'. Now, with a Shelby GT on order, its like I never left and the wait has begun all over again!

Good luck, enjoy, and welcome to one of the best sites on the net! Glad I could help w/#8.
