130's..low and slow...
4 months in the desert 8 at home...little stuff in between
If I was single I'd go for the strat airlifters...C-5', 17's and such...
My understanding of their schedule is 16 days on the road, couple days off, then back at it again, that comes form a Loadmaster friend of mine...that road consists of everywhere between home and the desert, lot of cool stops.
130's go and stay in the desert and drop crap off at the little airfields that the big boys can't land in...only stops we make are the desert and everywhere in the desert, great way to see the middle east...
but as a former 130 engine troop turned Flight Engineer...GO 130's!!!
