well some of you know i crashed, but its all good cuz im gonna end with with 3000 bucks in my pocket after the car is fixed, so what heads should i get and cam? This is my daily driver. SO nothing extreme, and it needs to pass emissions of course. And i did do a search i just dont understand all the air flow math stuff. Plus im gonna top it off with a 50 shot of Nitrous, dont know which company yet. SO whats your guyes opinions? Im doing all the bolt-ons to.

Too broad of a question. What do you want your car to do? Track car, or street car? Do you want it to have more low end torque, or top end horsepower? AFR, Tricklflow, Edelbrock are all goopd aluminum heads. Or you could get a set of GT-40's if you wanna go the budget route. It depends on what you want really.

well the bugnet is no problem since i got free money, its my daily driver like i said. So its gotta be a street car. and about the horsepower or torque, which one is better? can a little bit of both be done?

Personally, I would go with a supercharger on a daily driver, but thats just my opinion. I would go with AFR heads, a custom cam, and a new upper/lower intake. If you go with a supercharger. www.superchargersonline.com has them pretty cheep.

Unless you stay extemely mild, a custom cam won't pass emmission. Go with the blower.

For a street car, you're gonna want more torque. If you need to pass emissions, a supercharger is gonna be a lot easier to do it with. A lot of aftermarket cams out there aren't emissions legal.

I don't know if you would call my combo extremely mild but I have passed the Texas state annual roller emission inspection for the past three years with flying colors.

I was just saying a supercharger is usually more emissions friendly than a h/c/i combo. Grady has an FTI custom cam, AFR 165's, and an Edelbrock RPM setup IIRC. Look at the FAQ section at the top of the 94/95 tech. It has a list of different combos, with dyno numbers, track time, and whether they are emissions legal or not. It even has a list of 10 popular cams with specs and whether they are emissions legal or not.

Ah heck, I'll just give you a link:

GT40x heads with Crane 2040 Cam or
Crane 2030 Cam, which cam should work for me? both emission legal. or the afr 165 with one of those two cams? Im lost in this **** which would be better? and longer losting?

It is nothing unusual really

A few other members have similar combos

The key parts are listed in the sig.
