What to port on a stock intake plenum?

I was given a stock 03 4.6 intake plenum from a buddy of mine and was thinking about porting it. I tried looking for porting instructions on the web but without any luck. I am not sure what should be ported. I notice a couple of spots on the side right before the intake that I could smooth out. Also, at the back of the plenum, there is a round bump but I dont know if I should try and remove that. Just wondering for the people who have ported their plenum, what did you actually remove and did you notice anything?

Spent too much time and noticed nothing...If I had it to do over again, I'd clean it up (don't completely remove the bump on the back, but it can be trimmed down quite a bit) and then add a plenum spacer. Leave the floor of the plenum alone or you will make the radius of the turn down into the manifold even tighter. Or just buy a C&L or Accufab plenum.
