im trying to take off my alternator bracket and power steering what star shaped tool do i need that fits the center bolt

Just a big Torx bit.

you need to remove the tensioner before you can get to the last bolt for the bracket. its a T-50 torx bit (star shaped head).

If you are removing the power steering pump also you will need an external torx...I know guys have gotten it off with a 12 point but I didnt want to worry about stripping it so I went out and bought a set.
