Hey everyone...
Well I've had the car for over 5 years now, and am planning on taking it on the track (1/4mi) mid April for the first time. Obviously traction is already an issue, and combined with what I've read of zMax's all-concrete track here, I'm thinking it wouldnt be a bad idea to get a spare set of cheap rear wheels + good d/r's for race-only events. (Cheap whenever possible
)
Tire brand I can handle on my own
rolleyes: i think), but what COMBO of RIM SIZE (15s-17s) and TIRE SIZE is most beneficial? Currently I am 1.25" dropped and geared at 4.30, so I think I can afford a bit taller tire if need be...
15's I read can get in the way of the '99/'01 rear caliper. 16's don't have too many choices of tires. 17's are kinda $pendy for the rare occasion I can get on the 1320, although seems the easiest combined with a new set of nitto's.
What have you guy's been doing?
